What is this program all about?
This exercise program combines fun, mood-boosting walking/low-impact workouts, with essential, manageable, strength training workouts. All workouts are free on YouTube! Your program schedule and links to the YouTube workouts can be found in the workout program PDF (click on the button below).
Why add strength training?
SO MANY REASONS! Including preventing the loss of muscle mass (which accelerates as we age), burning more calories than cardio alone, reducing the risk of injury, disease prevention, improving body composition, and more.
What does the workout schedule look like?
There will be different workouts every day. No repeat workouts for the entire program! You’ll have a strength training workout 3 times per week (upper body, lower body, & abs/glutes), a low-impact cardio workout 3 times per week (including a hit-songs workout once per week), and a recovery walk once per week.
